When you first hear it, what do you think of? I get a mixture of the Atlanta Braves, Gone with the Wind, and the Housewives of Atlanta. Not the greatest of mixtures I grant you that. Let’s take a closer look shall we of all the great things to do in the city of Atlanta with your first sugar date.
Unknown to many, Atlanta came about due to its transportation railway hub. At one it was called Terminus (Terminal) and later Marthasville. Finally, they renamed the city to present day Atlanta in 1845. For the start of the date, if weather permits, why not take your date on a bit of a hike or walking trail, if physical fitness is the theme of the date. First you can head out to the Atlanta beltline. This is a huge network of walking trails, bike trails and parks. The beltine goes around the entire Atlanta city. You can certainly have some fun here on your date doing a number of physical activities together such as hiking, walking, biking, or checking out the latest public art by local residents in the parks.
Speaking of parks, why not try the Atlanta Botanical Gardens if the mood strikes you for some mother nature beauty. You can find the gardens in mid town of the city approximately 30 acres in size. Here, you can walk with your date and see specific themed gardens each with their own type of species of flowers, and landscaped works. Some of the standouts of the gardens to see would be the Storza section - here you have a gorgeous wooded area with a very different experience for you and your date - a canopy walk! Also, don’t forget to visit the Skyline garden - here you can find some of the most amazing picturesque views of Atlanta, and a perfect selfie moment,
What about visiting the Atlanta Aquarium? You and your date can find the aquarium close to the world of Coca Cola - another place you can visit with your date after the aquarium. The aquarium is quite large, they love to state that they have over 100 different habitats, with 6 different galleries full of aquatic marine life. What would I recommend? I would first go see the shark exhibit - a must see even with your date. Then take a stroll to Tropical Diver - which has some of the beautiful corals and fish you will see this side of the Caribbean. Everyone’s favorite would be however the dolphin exhibit - a great way to see their behavior and intelligence in the wild. In fact, check the parks schedule and make sure to catch the show of dolphins - well worth the wait to see them in action.
An interesting place to take a date, could be the world of Coca Cola. Here you can visit and enjoy a hands on interactive experience of all things you love about Coke. Add to that over 1,200 memorabilia from around the world that explains the history and love of Coke. The exhibits are plentiful - most favorites are the Beverage Lab - a place you can sample various flavors and taste even some flavor's that never even went to market. Try a smell and taste test between your date and who has the better senses. Finally, get the chance to sample various flavor's of soda made around the world.
Why not visit Centennial Olympic Park which hosted the 1996 Olympic Games. It may be an interesting place to visit with your date and enjoy some activities there. It boasts the world’s largest interactive fountain - a selfie moment indeed. For more selfie moments at your date - they have an interactive mural all digitized. And of course grab a photo or two of you and your date on the giant Olympics ring sculpture. Also, last and the best, would be a nice date ride on the Atlantis Ferris Wheel which gives a great view of the city of Atlanta and its surroundings. Finally, a bit of an inside tip, the park allows guests to bring in food and have a picnic, so why not make a date of it.
If your date is a bit of a classical music lover why not tickets to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra? They are rated quite high, in fact they won a coveted Grammy. Even more interesting, is when they have nights where the audience gets to watch a movie while they play the movies score entirely in a live performance. Interesting and unique, and may be the place for a great first date. If you and your date like to simply browse in a great neighbourhood, I would suggest trying out the Buckhead (love that name) Village District. This is definitely an interesting mix of style and luxury in this area. You can walk hand in hand on the quaint and charming cobblestone streets, and numerous communal areas in the neighborhood. Then you can stop and have an excellent drink and meal after you finish the window and people shopping in this stylish area.
If you want to show your date something truly unique and interesting may I suggest then the Center for Puppetry Arts. Yes, you read that correctly - a place for puppets! Who didn’t like puppets as a kid growing up? Well, if you want to bring out the kid in you once again and with your date, come by and visit this unique place. You can visit the legendary duo of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, in this fully entertaining and interactive museum. Definitely a place and date that would be hard to forget.
If Nature is your theme for the date, then you should try the Chattahoochee Nature Centre. Here, there are a bunch of activities to do on your date, individually or together as a couple. You can zip line across their favored Atlanta beaver pond, see their live display of butterflies, or get your boots on for a gorgeous hike. You can top this day off - check the calendar please - with a musical performance at the river. A great play to spend the day and date with those who are active with nature.
One of my favourite places to have fun, and perhaps take a date would be the awesome Chattahoochee River. What’s hear you ask? Well, its a 48 mile river only a few miles from Atlanta. Here you can do a variety of sporting events - such as paddle boarding, swimming, rafting, and of course American favorite pastime fishing. As well, you can do my favorite, you can tube your way down the river in relaxation, and then stop somewhere later for a hike back up stream, and then finally a well prepared and delicious picnic for you and date
Finally, off the beaten path of where to take a sugar date, why not head to the Delta Flight Museum. You get to visit the museum in tow original plane hangers, and take a tour of aviation and Delta’s history and role here. You can take tours that are guided, see quite a few aviation related exhibits. The best for last on this interesting date, would be able to see up close and personal the massive and impressive 747. Definitely a selfie moment and a date to remember.
Average male income by age in San Antonio, Texas for a dinner date.
This of course varies considerably in San Antonio. There are some that spend a lot on a first date, and there are those who will treat you to a coffee and a cookie if you are lucky. So, in the end, it will be based on the location, personal preferences, and the restaurant itself in San Antonio.
Taking all that into consideration, the average cost of a dinner date in your city is $100- $160 dollars for an upscale experience in San Antonio. This includes dinner, drinks, desert. For a reasonable meal expect to pay $42 to $55. For those on a budget, one can expect to pay $42 for something decent from tacos, pizzas, burgers, etc.
Reasonable to Consider
Remember, there are always budget friendly options in San Antonio - not everyone needs to splurge on the first date, but it is a good idea to do so. No date wants to think of you as a budget friendly, thrifty, or cheap individual. If you like someone, nothing wrong in spending a few extra dollars more for a good meal and a good surrounding. It can make your dinner date much more impressionable, rewarding, and memorable. Iluv sugar mantra - when you can spend a little more, its always good to do so on the first date in San Antonio, Texas.
