1. Extravagant Travel Getaways
Flying High all the Time
The first time I went in a private jet, it felt like being in a Bond Movie, only this time I was not assigned any dangerous mission but just to look fabulous, sipping champagne. The perks of flying private jet are many. No TSA lines, no crying babies, just plush leather seats and a personal flight attendant who somehow knew my drink order before I even asked. When I fly commercial (which, truthfully, is practically always first-class now), I love the lounge experience – massages, unlimited rosé, and those exquisite little snacks which make you wonder why you ever set foot in economy.
Luxury resorts and 5-star hotels
I thought “ocean view” meant standing on tiptoes and squinting between buildings. Now celebs probably have better dope. It means waking up in a Maldivian overwater villa, where I can literally roll out of bed and into the sea. Staying at the vacation places level of pampering at these places is next-level—monogrammed robes, pillow menus (yes, that’s a thing), and private butlers who make you feel like actual royalty. I once stayed in a Dubai penthouse that was so high I saw a lightning storm happen below me while soaking in a marble bathtub that was bigger than my old college dorm room.
A trip to an exotic location
This means a personalized itinerary with VIP treatment. Where earlier people would look up Google and try to avoid tourist traps, now things are totally different. I don’t even lift a finger. They will plan for the best tables, best places, and experiences. When I was in Paris, I made a casual remark that I’d love to visit the Louvre without the crowds. I got a private tour of the Louvre after hours, where I stood alone in front of the Mona Lisa, sipping champagne like a Marie Antoinette (minus the guillotine).

2. High-End Fashion & Designer
Wardrobe Shopping Sprees at Exclusive
Shopping for clothes at designer boutiques is one such experience where designer goods are made available to you on a rack and you get to leave with a bag full of designer clothes. I remember visiting the Chane store and having the whole store to myself. No sales personnel hovering to sell me a thing, no waiting in the cash to pay my bill, just me and a glass of bubbly and the enjoyment of trying things on. It’s risky fun because suddenly spending a few grand on a handbag feels like treating yourself to a nice coffee.
It's mine. It's unique. I love it.
Owning something truly unique is a thrill like no other. I went to a gala in a unique Dior gown which was custom made for me. It had all the perfect embroidery, fit and elegance that I felt like a cover girl of a magazine. And don’t even get me started on the jewelry. When gifts’ start to include Cartier Limited-Edition Bracelets and custom diamond necklaces, you understand the meaning of “treat yourself”.
Boys please - bring in the experts!
I don't do my own hair and makeup in an Uber anymore just like the good old days. These days, I get the full glam treatment, where professional stylists create magic on me. The first time I had my own personal stylist create my look for a gala, I nearly cried — partly because I had never looked so beautiful, and partly because I knew I would never be able to do it myself again.

3. Michelin-Star Dining & Fine Wine
Can Food be Too expensive?
In the past, I believed that ordering an overpriced steak at a nice restaurant was fancy dining. But such sits the use of two sceneries. After tasting my first Michelin star, my tongue has never been the same. This is basically a 12-course meal where every dish looks like art and tastes even better. Yes, please. The chef’s table is even better where the culinary genius behind the deliciousness explains the course as if I’m a superstar food critic.
Wine Collections: I learned a little bit. It helped a lot!
I used to think wine did not matter until some time ago when it was just red or white. I can confidently hold my own in any wine discussion, and while I may not drink expensive wine every day, I’m no stranger to fine wines. It’s always nice to be handed a glass of 50-year-old Bordeaux that costs more than my last rent. And yes, I’m now a fan of Dom Pérignon, which has ruined me for boring prosecco forever.
Private dining and my personal food experiences.
No need to sit at restaurants and wait for a table like a normal person, I get to dine at places. I once had a private dinner on a yacht where a chef cooked dinner for me aboard the yacht while sailing under the stars. On another occasion, I enjoyed a private after-hours sushi experience at one of Tokyo’s most exclusive restaurants, just me and my date plus a Michelin-starred sushi chef creating edible masterpieces for us.
4. VIP Events & Socialite Access
Am I Impressed?
It’s like something out of a film when you see a luxury vehicle, glide past the velvet ropes, and walk into a room full of those people you only see in magazines.
Elite Galas & Charity Balls are events to attend.
Attending my first gala of the elite was like stepping into a scene from The Great Gatsby — a champagne fountain, chandeliers, and women in gowns so big they should’ve had an insurance policy. I was munching caviar while having a nonchalant conversation about art with a billionaire philanthropist and wondering how my life managed to become so fabulous.
Sitting in the first row at fashion weeks
I used to endlessly scroll through Insta during fashion week to look at what happens there. Now? I don’t just attend—I have front-row seats. Being in a show is just unreal. To have the music vibrating in my chest while I am watching a show and looking eye-to-eye with a living, breathing model is a whole other experience.
One time in Paris I got invited backstage where I had an espresso next to a designer I couldn’t even say the name of. Last year, I was watching it from my tiny apartment; this year, I’m in the middle of it, pretending I fit in.
Whether it’s a seat in VIP or a private performance
I go to concerts now. I have to disagree with you. Forget the overpriced ticket and nosebleed seats, I think it’s better simply standing where they’re performing.
I can now see the sweat coming off their brow. I attended an afterparty where a Grammy-winning singer just pulled out a guitar and started playing, almost giving me a heart attack. And the parties? I can assure you it’s a vivid party instead – while I purse my lips around a cocktail at a mansion in Beverly Hills sipping with a DJ and A-list guests.
- Galas and some Charity Balls – the chance to see celebrities!
- Fashion Week here I come!
- Parties Galore - time to pick and choose.
